Today was a lazy day. But we decided to go outside for some finger painting!
We used Washable Paint: Tempera Paint. We got it from Walmart, in the crafting area.
I highly recommend it, because it came off our skin so easily!
Here are some pictures of our adventure. (:

We had a blast!

Dyed Playsilks!

Today was a very eventful day!
We dyed playsilks today, and in the jist of it all, TRISTAN STARTED WALKING!
Full on walking! There's no stopping him now!
And I know many people have posted this turtorial on how to do this, but I just thought I'd share our expierience with it.
We got the idea from my bestfriends blog, Not Twins.

First we started by soaking the playsilks in 3 cups of vinegar, and some very very hot water!

Playsilks for dinner, anyone?

Then we soaked the play silks in bowls that contained 3 packets of koolaid, a dash of vinegar, and more hot water. (We did one 30x30 playsilk per bowl.)
Such pretty colors!
The blue was my favorite!

After soaking, we rinsed them.
In very very cold water!

Then we let them hang to dry!
I didn't even think to get a clothes line hung up before doing this..so I just let them hang over the top in our shower, with the bowls underneath to catch excess dye. It worked very well, surprisingly.

After they were dry, Tristan got to play with them!

He seemed very pleased!

 With his rainbow of Silks!
